2023 Washtenaw County Community Survey Results
- Phase 1 (March - April 2023): An online version of the survey was made available and was broadly shared with our partners, through social media, and in our email newsletter. After this phase was completed, it was determined that the majority of respondents identified as white women. To obtain results that were more representative of people of color and Washtenaw County's overall demographics, the survey was re-opened for a second phase.
- Phase 2 (May - June 2023): Survey distribution during this phase was largely focused on the use of paper copies of the survey gathered in cooperation with partners or at events. As a result, better representation was achieved, especially among those who identified as Black or African American and Latinx. The online survey remained available during this time, but advertising efforts were focused on distribution of paper surveys.
